DIRECTIONS

Doggie Dorms include:

A welcoming and reassuring home away from home while you're away for an extended period of time.

We provide 24 hour supervised care in our home set in an idyllic country location with kennel-free boarding and two fenced acres to romp and play.

The owner of the Chalet does reside on the property thus providing 24-hour supervision, which is unusual these days at traditional kennels. Because the owner lives on the premises, we do ask that you abide by the hours for pick up and drop off.

Meals are served twice a day - breakfast & dinner. And snacks around lunch time. If your dog is on a certain schedule, we will be sure to follow it. The doggy dorm is equipped with a canine kitchen where each visitor receives his/her own food prepared by you.

The dorm is both heated and air-conditioned. During naptime and bedtime our clients enjoy relaxing classical piped in music throughout the doggy dorm. He/she will be sleeping on a Kuranda bed, blanket or a homemade bed in one of the five suites described below.

Luxury Suites:

We have 5 luxury suites at ALT! Each suite is decorated with a theme; Salsa Room, Liberty Room, Moutain Retreat, Noah's Arc, and the Rose Room. They have individual televisions, handmade beds, and special treat-stuffed kongs at naptime and bedtime. If your dog enjoys sleeping on the bed, and/or just deserves to be spoiled, reserve one for your prince or princess today!

Items to Bring for your Buddy:

• Please individually bag each meal and any medication for your pet to insure proper proportions are given. Please bring these individual servings in a plastic or tin container.

• A copy of your pet's vaccination records, including proof of bordatella.

• All cats must be contained in a cat carrier when arriving and departing.
  
• Make sure your pet has a collar (not a choke chain) with name tag.
  
• Bowls, blankets, and leashes are NOT necessary

Trial Day:

Because A Lov-in Touch provides time to socialize, we need to make sure our facility and your buddy are a good match. Therefore, we ask that you bring your pet for a complete day of daycare.

At the end of the day, he or she would receive a report card and you would be welcome at that time to tour the facility. There is a $20 charge for this day. It has been our experience that this "trial day" has proven to lessen your pet's anxiety when boarding, as he or she will know you're coming back. Also, 99% of the doggies are so happy to come back to the Pet Chalet, that you can leave for your vacation feeling great that your buddy is having a fun time too!

NOTE: Children under the age of 18 are not allowed past the cottage and are not permitted to touch any dog through the fence or in the cottage area. This is for the child's safety, as we have no way of knowing how each dog will react to a little person. Thanks.
